About The Operator Dashboard
The Operator Dashboard features will go live during the Operator Mint on December 2, 2024 at 1PM UTC.
The Operator Dashboard (dashboard.logos.co) serves as the heart of the Logos community, where members can stake, earn rewards, and contribute to the Logos cybernation. Designed to reward all levels of engagement, the dashboard is accessible to everyone, fostering a vibrant community united in building a decentralised, on-chain digital society.
Key Features and Functions
Roles
Operators: Users with at least one Logos Operator in their connected wallet are assigned the role of “Operator.” As Operators, members can earn XP through staking and contributing to the Logos ecosystem, which is essential for accessing rewards and building reputation within the community.
Pioneers: Users who do not yet own a Logos Operator are designated as “Pioneers.” Pioneers are also eligible to earn XP by participating in activities across the Logos ecosystem. However, staking rewards are exclusive to Operators. In the future, Pioneers who reach a defined XP threshold will have the opportunity to earn an Operator ordinal, creating a pathway to deeper involvement.
Stake and Earn Rewards
The primary method to earn XP is through staking. By staking your Operator NFT, you actively contribute to the security and stability of the network while earning XP. Staking also builds your reputation and eligibility for future rewards and benefits, marking your role as an engaged member of the Logos ecosystem.
Epochs and Cooldown Period
Each epoch lasts 12,960 Bitcoin blocks, serving as a distinct time frame for community activities and rewards within the Logos ecosystem. Following each epoch, there is a cooldown period of 1,008 blocks. During this cooldown, users cannot earn XP, but they can prepare for the next epoch by strategising their contributions and activities within the community.
The Exit players
Participants in The Exit (exit.logos.co) enjoyed an exclusive bonus. When signing into the Operator Dashboard for the first time, users with earned XP from The Exit received a 10x XP multiplier. For instance, if you earned 1,000 XP in The Exit, your balance in the Operator Dashboard began at 10,000 XP. This bonus recognised and rewarded our earliest community members for their foundational contributions.
Future Plans
The Operator Dashboard will continue to evolve with the Logos ecosystem. Future updates include:
Expanded local community engagement through geographically based Cells on OpChan: Enable Operators to coordinate and contribute on a local level, enhancing community presence.
Self-sovereign community builder: Easily access the tools you need to create governance models, parallel economies, and autonomous communities.
These updates will empower our community to drive forward Logos’ mission of creating a resilient, decentralised digital society.
